So many times you need IP Address of your router to change some settings. Usually, Linksys routers have IP address as 192.168.1.1 and Belkin usually is 192.168.2.1. Dlink and Netgear typically use 192.168.0.1. It is very easy to find your router IP address.
Open command prompt window. Windows 7 users can click on ‘Start’ and type ‘cmd’ into search. Now you would see the command prompt. Click on it to open or select and hit ‘ENTER’ on keyboard. Windows 8 users can hit Windows + X keys together to get Access Menu. Simply click Command Prompt there. Access Menu can also be opened by bringing the mouse pointer to bottom left of screen and then right clicking.
Type ‘ipconfig’ in command prompt windows and hit ENTER. The IP address that you see along ‘Default Gateway’ is your router IP address. I am not using Default IP Address and that is why mine is showing as 10.10.10.1.
